Rental Property Gets Renovated By Badger Granite
Badger Granite was contacted by a property owner in Racine, WI that needed to have his rental property remodeled. He was trying to have it rented out by summer time, so he needed to have the kitchen and bathroom spruced up to attract prospects. The last occupants didn’t treat the place so well, so a lot of work was needed.
The contractors at Badger Granite stopped by the single-family home to analyze and take measurements of the property. This would be used to provide an accurate estimate. The property manager decided to have quartz and granite counters installed in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Another Happy Customer in Racine, WI
As always, Badger Granite contractor did an amazing job with the installations. The property manager hired us to replace the counters with new granite stonewith unique edges. The bathrooms were also to be upgraded with new vanities, purchased from our shop. The outcome of it all was stunning and the customer was very pleased with the work. The attention to detail was noticeable and appreciated by the property manager and future residents.
The Installation Process
After taking down measurements for new countertops, the customer came by the showroom to choose the slabs he wanted. He went with a black quartz stone for the kitchen and a beige granite slab for the bathrooms. He also flipped through our book of edge styles and chose the one he wanted. The sinks and faucets were selected during this time as well.
Our contractors fabricate all of the countertops we install to ensure an ideal fit. This prevents mishaps in the cutting of the stone. We arrived at the property bright and early to begin working on the project. We began with the kitchen, removing the vinyl countertops first. The new quartz stone was applied to the areas, along with the new kitchen sink and faucet. We applied the edge style he requested, giving it the final touch it needed.
Engineered quartz was a great option for the kitchen, since it needed little maintenance and was difficult to scratch, crack and stain. Our professionals sealed it properly to ensure it lasted a long time.
Next was the two bathrooms. The vanities he selected were immediately installed once we removed the old ones from their place. The vanities he had were badly damaged and missing doors and other parts. The counters were also scratched up and peeling. The granite stone would make a great replacement because of its endurance. This too was sealed by our professionals to lengthen its lifespan.
